Infant physical therapy in Avon, Indiana
Tumble sees babies and toddlers who prefer to look one way, find feeding positions awkward or are slow to roll, sit or crawl. Your physical therapist watches your baby play and shows you what to try at home.

You stay with your baby the whole time. Aubrey watches, explains and guides your hands.
Aubrey starts with your questions and your week: how your baby feeds, sleeps, plays and moves, and what you have noticed.
On a mat, with toys, at your baby's pace. Aubrey looks at how your baby turns, reaches, rolls and rests, and stops for a feed or a cuddle whenever you need.
She shows you how to hold, carry and move your baby. You do the handling and she guides your hands, so your baby stays with the person they trust.
Aubrey explains what she saw in plain words, with the choices and any risks. You decide together what to try first and when to come back.
A few ways to play at home, shown on your own baby and written down. With your OK, we send your pediatrician a short note.
In the room
Aubrey picks play that makes your baby reach, grip, turn and push. You see which toy does what, and take the ideas home.

Reaching, gripping and letting go, and passing a block from one hand to the other.

Turning a wrist and fitting a piece with a finger and thumb, with both hands working together.

Small, careful movements and steady eyes and hands, for a baby who is ready to try.

In Indiana you can start physical therapy without a referral. If you send a receipt to your plan, your plan may ask for one. We also ask you to tell your baby's pediatrician you are coming, and with your OK we send a short note.

The first visit is about an hour. Aubrey, a physical therapist, treats every visit herself, and you stay with your baby throughout.
Babies sometimes fuss, and that is fine. Aubrey slows down, stops for a feed or a cuddle, and tries again. You can stop whenever you like.
Not unless you say yes in writing. You can agree to one photo and say no to another, and you can change your mind at any time.
